First off, Janice Pearsall is my mom and she is awesome. I couldn’t be a luckier kid to have a mom like her. So how was she awesome today? Well, you know the way moms just know how to take care of things? My mom is the best. She lets me take care of all my own things, always has, unless I ask her for help. I’m not too proud as a 22 year old to ask. I had a question about insurance and how my coverage would or wouldn’t change once I’m married. When I called a while back, they gave me one answer. Yet with the national coverage and a meeting my mom went to, it was different than what I heard. So after I asked my mom for some help over break, she did some research and called them today. The lady on her end of the phone read her the coverage information word-for-word. So does this amazing moment end there? No! My mom texted me and asked if I was at work, to make sure I was in a private area. She then lowered her voice, shut her office door and gave me the information.
In the end, she helped me without being overbearing and takeover-like (as if I’m still a child) and she was discrete with the information. I love my mom and if I didn’t have only a few second left, I would write on and on and…
